The Latah County Community Foundation (LCCF) is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the citizens of Latah County, through the accumulation, management, and disbursement of charitable donations of programs or projects associated with education, human services, environment, health youth services, civic improvement, the arts and various other charitable interests.
Board of Directors
The Latah County Community Foundation was established by a group of Latah County leaders, with the goal of supporting a wide variety of important charitable activities in the Latah County area. The Foundation is a legally established non-profit corporation governed by a Board of Directors with members who are chosen for their diverse backgrounds and who seek to represent all of the communities and interests of Latah County and the various types of projects associated with the Foundation’s mission.
The current Board of Directors consists of:
- Ryan Poler of Viola;
- Cliff Swanson of Troy;
- Cathy Blood and Shannon Richards of Potlatch;
- Kristy Meyer of Genesee;
- Tom Campbell, Misty Curry, Jenny Ford, Christine Gilmore, Ann Norton, Jay Pengilly, and Mary Silvernale Shook all of Moscow.
The Foundation seeks to insure that funds donated to the Foundation are intended, first of all, to be used only for charitable purposes, that they would be productive of a reasonable return of income over a period of time that will help grow the Foundation’s endowment, and that the Foundation is actively seeking additional contributions. The Foundation has chosen Wells Fargo Advisors as its’ investment advisor.
If your organization or group of individuals would like to know more about the Latah County Community Foundation, its origins, its current financial status, and how you can plan your giving to the Foundation in coordination with your charitable goals, the Foundation can arrange to have its financial adviser meet with your group to explain the various ways that you can contribute.
